January 10 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents Ultrafaux

Kick off the Friday Nites season with original music inspired by Gypsy swing, be-bop, Balkan
music, Bluegrass, swing, funk, Blues, Brazilian choro, Cuban jazz, and French musette. Ultrafaux
was the first Gypsy Jazz band to be featured at the Charm City Bluegrass Festival and will be
featured at Folk Alliance International in New Orleans in 2020.


January 17 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents The Pam Oritz Band

The Friday Nites series continues with the original acoustic blues and folk inspired sounds of
Eastern-Shore based singer-songwriter Pam Ortiz and her band. The Pam Ortiz Band includes
Pam’s husband, Bob Ortiz, on percussion and guitar, Ford Schumann on guitar, Nevin Dawson
on viola and violin, and Philip Dutton on piano and keyboards.


February 21 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents The Lovejoy Group

Enjoy the rhythm, energy and musical intrigue of The Lovejoy Group, a versatile ensemble
fronted by bandleader and vocalist Karen Lovejoy, serving up energetic jazz, funky blues and
smooth Latin sounds.


March 13 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents Ocean Celtic Quartet

Ocean Celtic Quartet’s music is packed with pure pan-Celtic pizazz. They put their unique spin
on traditional songs and original compositions, from soaring ballads and stirring sea chanteys to
blazing fiddle and accordion tunes.


March 20 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents New and Used Bluegrass

Friday Nites wraps up with the bluegrass sounds of New and Used Bluegrass. This local band
features Ed Finkner on guitar, Jon Simmons on fiddle, Toby Price on mandolin, Alan Breeding on
banjo and Martin Wirtz on lead guitar and banjo.
