What are you doing to help keep the community safe?

The reopening plan that the Caroline County Public Library has adopted in response to the COVID-19 crisis was developed with the safety of our staff and community as our top priority. Here are just a few of the things we will be going during this phase of our reopening plan to help keep you safe.

  • All returned materials will be quarantined for a period of seven days
  • All participating library staff will be required to wear masks and follow meticulous cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Library to Go will be entirely contactless. You will never be required to break proper social distancing protocols to retrieve your requested materials.
  • We ask that all of our customers using our Library to Go service practice responsible social distancing and wear face masks when approaching the pickup table to retrieve their materials.

When will you be expanding this service or reopening to the public?

Our library team is closely monitoring conditions on the local, state and national level. We will expand and add library services as health conditions allow us to do so. We are incredibly eager to reopen fully to the public but we must keep the health of our staff and our community as our top concern.
