Halfway There!

A Couple of Quick Updates

If you come into the Central Library in Denton over the next few weeks you are likely to notice a great deal of changes as we prepare for renovation of the 1st floor to begin on the 3rd of January.

  • As of Monday, December 19 the bulk of the Youth Services collection has been placed in storage for the duration of the renovation. A small collection featuring our newest and most popular materials will be available for browsing in the large meeting room starting January 3rd.

  • The Makerspace and Teen Zone will be closed through he end of December to allow staff the opportunity to get these areas ready for the renovation. You can find the Makerspace in the Federalsburg meeting room starting January 3rd.

  • Upcoming: Public computers will be temporarily unavailable on at the Central Library Tuesday, December 27 as we work to relocate them to the large meeting room. Starting Wednesday, December 28th public computers at the Central Library in Denon will only be accessible in the large meeting room on the 2nd floor.

  • Over the next two weeks we will be working on packing up the rest of the materials on the first floor of the Central Library. If you come in and find that we have packed up your favorite section, have no fear! We will be able to request items from other library systems throughout the renovation.
