Pardon Our Noise

It's The Sound of Progress

Over the next few weeks, those visiting our Mini Library on the second floor of the Central Library in Denton may hear a bit of racket as our renovation enters its next phase. Starting around the 14th of February our contractors will begin the arduous, and noisy, process of cutting and breaking up part of the concrete foundation so that new electric and data can be run throughout the library. We’ve been told that yes, there will be a jackhammer on site, and no, staff are not allowed to play with it on their lunch breaks. In addition to the noise, we’re also expecting quite a bit of dust so we will do our absolute best to keep the first floor buttoned up so that our lobby remains dust free for our customers. As always, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process!
